When I read this article I was
not at all surprised. I see people
taking pictures of themselves all
the time. However, I can't say I go
around taking pictures of myself.
I don't think this article is directed
to all teenagers, because like myself,
I would rather take a picture of or
with my friends then to take a random
picture of myself. I also don't post
pictures of myself on the Internet other
people tag me in them. I beleive
in what the article had to say, that people
always post pictures that are suggestive
and shouldn't necessarily be on there. I
personally think facebook and myspace has
a negative impact on the whole picture taking
thing. I don't agree that it is helping people
"find there identity". I think it's a random place
where people feel they can be someone totally
different then they are in real life. Some of the
"self portraits" they take now I beleive they
would be embarrased I'd they were confronted
about in real life. I however will
get on facebook and chat with some friends, but
overall I think it has a negative impact.
