free blog!!

I tried throwing on the wheel yesterday...and failed. I had a bowl going that was starting to look okay and I was getting really excited about it, but then it collapsed. I tried 3 times and none of them worked:( This makes me really sad because I really really want to make a tea pot on the wheel, but if I can't even throw a basic cup or bowl..  I will probably not be able to throw my tea pot. However, It was only my first time, so hopefully the next time will go better and I will throw something that I will be able to keep:)

    Just keep at it! It took me forever to get pieces I actually thought were good, and I still am not even very good at it. It just takes a lot of practice and patience.
